What is a ceramic coating?

A ceramic coating is a liquid that's applied to your car's paint and hardens into a thin, clear, glass-like layer. Think of it as a hard clear coat of nail polish for your car. It adds gloss, makes washing easier and helps grime slide off, but it doesn't stop rock chips.
